General hire terms
A summary of how we work: bookings, set-up, responsibilities and return of the equipment. The specific terms for each service are always set out in the accepted quote.
Quote and booking
Every service starts with a written quote detailing the equipment, staff and timings. The date is reserved once the quote is accepted on the terms it states. Until then availability is not guaranteed.
Set-up and dismantling
Unless stated otherwise, the price includes transport, set-up, testing and dismantling at the agreed times. The client must guarantee access to the space during those slots, as well as the availability of the set-up area and the expected power supply.
Power supply
When the power is provided by the client or the venue, it must match the capacity stated in the quote. If it is not available at set-up time, a generator may be needed at the corresponding cost.
Use and safekeeping of the equipment
During the hire period the client is responsible for the safekeeping of the installed equipment, except for any part that remains under the supervision of our staff. Damage caused by misuse, by third parties or by unforeseen conditions is assessed and invoiced separately.
Weather conditions
For outdoor set-ups, safety comes first. If weather warnings put a structure at risk, our staff may remove canvas, stop the set-up or take down raised elements, always informing the organisers.
Cancellations and changes
Changes of date or scope are handled subject to availability. Cancellation terms are set out in the accepted quote and vary depending on the notice given and the costs already committed.
Permits
Obtaining licences, permits to occupy public spaces, beach permits and any other administrative authorisation is the responsibility of the event organisers, unless expressly agreed otherwise. We provide whatever technical documentation on the equipment and set-up is required.
Insurance
We hold the public liability insurance required for our activity. Insurance specific to the event (organiser's liability, cancellation, etc.) is the responsibility of the organisers.
