How we quote an event
We do not publish fixed rates because two events with the same audience size can cost very different amounts. What we can explain is exactly what drives the price and what is always included.
Recent productions

| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Audience size and space | It determines the power, the coverage and the amount of equipment. |
| Indoor or outdoor | Outdoors you need more equipment, ballast and weather protection. |
| Set-up hours | Setting up overnight or the day before has a different cost. |
| Technical staff | A technician on site during the event is the item that gives the most peace of mind. |
| Access and logistics | Unloading straight from the van is not the same as carrying equipment up by hand. |
| Distance | The city, the coast and the mountains each have different logistics. |
| Duration | An afternoon, a weekend or a whole season are quoted differently. |
| Combined services | One combined production works out better than hiring five separate suppliers. |
Every quote we send includes transport, set-up, testing and dismantling, and lists line by line the specific equipment that will be used. If something is not listed, it is not included: we prefer to say so beforehand rather than argue about it later.
What usually brings the quote down most
- Booking early. Booking in advance gives room to plan the logistics more efficiently.
- Combining services. If sound, lighting, stage and carpet come from the same production, you save on transport and staff.
- Making access easy. Good loading access cuts set-up hours.
- Giving complete information. A quote based on real data does not need revising halfway through.
Ways of booking
- Per event, with set-up and dismantling included.
- Dry hire of equipment without staff, for simple set-ups.
- Technical staff only, if the venue already has equipment.
- Seasonal or recurring contracts for hotels, councils and venues with a regular programme.
